CHANGE OF PLANS (2011) Movie Review
Imagine your life going just right. You have a successful career, a happy marriage, and making lots of money. Then, everything gets flipped upside down a phone call and a will reading later. That’s what happens in Change of Plans.
Sally and her husband, Jason, get stuck with the decision to care for four orphaned children after the death her dear friend. With no children of their own they discover how life altering four children can be in ways of finance, time, and discipline.

It serves as a harsh reminder how different our own plan is from God’s. Even though God’s plan is out of our comfort zone we must trust that His intentions are good and serves the world for the better. Jason and Sally had been very comfortable with their lives before the children came along. However, they come to accept God’s plan for them and learn to love the children as their own. In turn they become better people.
Change of Plans will air on FOX on January 8 as the fourth segment of Family Movie Night. Brian Wells, Executive Producer, hopes to continue airing movies on NBC and FOX that provides great entertainment and stuff that calls out the best in people. He says in an interview that will be the main goal of “Family Movie Night.” I will keep my eyes out for future films.
