What will he do with his old toys? He could throw them away, donate them to day care, or store them in the attic. What does Jesus say about children and Heaven?

1. We all lose sight of our childhood innocence.

Matthew 18:10: “Beware that you don’t look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father.

2. Our sinful ways make us lose our childhood innocence and we separate ourselves from God.

Luke 18:17: I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

3. Jesus came to save our souls and preserve our childhood purity.

Luke 19:10: For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost

4. Jesus conquered death to save us from sin by sacrificing himself on the cross and rising to life again so that we can become like children again.

Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

5. In order to inherit the kingdom of Heaven, you must cleanse yourself from sin and become innocent like a child.

Luke 18:16b: “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.
