WHAT WE DO.

Times are changing. Mainstream media, content creators, and the film industry are speaking up against the world's greatest evil: narcissism. It's a real-world monster lurking in a sea of sci-fi robots, fantasy creatures, and horrific demons. Narcissists are shameless and unyielding. They are the wolves in sheep's clothing. Worst of all, they will devoir their victims alive if professional help is not sought. This is how narcissism breed, and it does so in alarming rates.

How do we stop this Hydra of mental illness? Awareness.
That is the new mission statement of Thread of Truth. We bring awareness to this silent evil through the stories of our time. So far, only first-hand victims understand it. Let's do more. Let's do better. Awareness needs to be everywhere.

UPDATE: MY RESPONSE TO THE WRITER'S STRIKE.

In light of the current writer's strike, Thread of Truth will not review any further films and series until these issues are resolved. Writers have been underpaid for far too long. Do I really need to say this? Past experience with the other platforms for which I wrote dictates I do.

PAY YOUR WRITERS WHAT THEY'RE WORTH!

As an underpaid, often unpaid, writer; I know the feeling of helplessness and rage that comes with a supervisor's (I refuse to call these people superior) decision to give themselves permission to undervalue the real workers in their industry.

If that's not narcissism, I don't know what is.

Get your shit together, Hollywood. Maybe, then, I'll consider shining a light back onto your so-called art. Especially with the angle of narcissism awareness. Do better. Be better.

In the meantime, I'll be catching up with my reading and reviewing older films/shows not associated with this controversy.
