THE "EXTRACTION" OF A YOUNG SOUL FROM A DARK FATE

Chris Hemsworth stars in Netflix thriller "Extraction". He plays Tyler Rake, a mercenary with nothing to lose. The story follows him through his final job to save a kidnapped teenage boy and return him safely to his family. It's a noble enough goal, but there is more at stake than a kidnapping. His purpose in this job is to save an innocent soul.

Ovi Mahajan is a privileged teenager caught in the middle of a gang war. He studies hard and plays the piano beautifully. He desires nothing more than the life of a normal teenager. That desire drives him to sneak out of the house to meet with a friend. This single act of rebellion quickly turns into the greatest regret of his life after two gang members murder his friend in front of him and takes him hostage. Ovi learns the brutal lesson that he can't have a normal life unless he escapes his father's world, a legacy bred by violence and greed.

It becomes Rake's task to free Ovi, not only from the gang that kidnapped him. Ovi needs rescuing from his the underworld of weapons dealers and traffickers. It's riddled with evil. Crime lords recruit and needlessly murder children in the name of power. Ovi needs a fresh start before his father's violent legacy consumes his life.

Salvation seems impossible. So many lost souls surround Ovi, including Rake. He's a man with nothing to lose. No family, friends, or career. All he has left is his final mission. How far will Rake go to save Ovi's life? And his soul?
