When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.

REVIEW (SPOILERS)

Proverbs 15:27 - "Greed brings grief to the whole family, but those who hate bribes will live." (NLT)

Set four year after the demise of Jurassic World theme park, the remaining dinosaurs on Island Nublar are left to fend for themselves, even when a volcano threatens to wipe them out. The government considers their impending doom an act of nature, but several private citizens including former Jurassic World employees Claire and Owen fight for their rights to exist.

Meanwhile, Dr. Wu and the private company behind him continues in their greed driven campaign to create the perfect weapon. In order to continue that work, they need the surviving dinosaurs DNA to refine the research. They also need money, which leads them to the despicable act of selling off the animals as weapons.

Like in every other Jurassic movie, their plan backfires, because they continue to underestimate these majestic, dangerous creatures. In doing so, the greatest danger of all is finally realized. The driving force of every Jurassic movie since 1995 revolves around the campaign to keep the dinosaurs contained. They are no longer contained.

They escape into the real world, and the possibility of containment is no longer on the table. Countless lives are now in danger. Why? Because Dr. Wu couldn't leave well enough alone. His greed and ambition leads to the possible extinction of the human race.

Ecclesiastes 5:10 - "Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!" (NLT)

Is this the end of the human race? How will the world cope with dinosaurs running rampant? What story will the next Jurassic World bring?
